Zurich: Year End Event

Download Presentation Dr. Ray Glennon
Market Solutions Manager at SHL
“What data really matters?”Dr. Ray Glennon from SHL lead an interactive session to explore answers to this question and the ways data can help HR and the business to stay ahead of the game and make right decisions. Metrics around process efficiencies and salary benchmarks provide very useful data but complete only a part of the picture.

Efficiency metrics, such as those provided through assessment tools, provide insight that drive far reaching organizational talent decisions:

  • Where in the world is there a high availability of professionals with the potential to be great innovators?
  • How does my banking organization, for example, compare to others in my sector in terms of managing risk effectively?
  • Does my country, or industry sectors have a high level of future leadership potential in its managerial ranks?

Dr. Glennon also discussed the maturity model of HR data analytics. Participants then had an opportunity to work with colleagues to discuss readiness, capability and success stories of implementing big data strategies within HR.
