On 27 march 2012, 20 CHRO and HR professionals gathered in Geneva for a Lunch&Learn session entitled “From Good to Great – The Evolution of CHRO
and CEO Profiles Compared”.

The presentation given by Dr Erik Slingerland came back on the key findings of the Egon Zehnder survey of 145 CHRO worldwide, data which EZI has then
analysed and compared to various benchmarks as well as challenged against their in-depth knowledge of CEO expectations.

One interesting conclusion is that “Great” CHROs showed a similar profile to that of great CEOs, whereas “good” CHROs had a competency profile that
differed from that of a CEO.

The topic generated great interest and opened a lively debate on what this implies for CHROs in terms of development and role evolution.

The session concluded with a get to know each other snack.
