“Now that you have attracted and hired a team of smart innovative people, how do you create a work environment where they can thrive and do their best work?”

This question lies at the heart of Sunnie Groeneveld’s new book „Inspired at Work – 66 Ideen für mehr Engagement und Innovation im Unternehmen” which she co-authored with Christoph Küffer (Versus Verlag, 2014). As a company, your success is critically dependent on creating an environment where people want to engage and want to take part. Drawing on a broad range of case studies from companies in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and the USA, Sunnie will share best practice examples as well as big and small ideas that can make all the difference at work.

Sunnie  is the founder of Inspire 925, a Swiss boutique consulting firm specialized in employee engagement. A member of the Global Shapers Community established by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and selected as one of Switzerland’s top 50 business women as part of the Gender50/50 initiative of the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) in 2014, she develops cutting-edge human resource approaches centered around the idea of “Inspiration as Business Strategy.” Prior to founding her company, Sunnie worked across a variety of industries, ranging from Finance and Environmental Consulting to Advertising, Non-Profit Management and at a Y-Combinator incubated web start-up in Silicon Valley. She holds an Economics degree from Yale University where she wrote her thesis on “Assessing the Economic Value of a Positive Work Environment.” HR Today, SME Business World and The Huffington Post regularly publish her articles on subjects such as employee engagement, innovation and happiness at work. She is the co-author of the book „Inspired at Work – 66 Ideen für mehr Engagement und Innovation im Unternehmen.”
